Theolosophy, Deotheoism and Numosapienism
THEOLOSOPHY:
Theolosophy is the study of the relationship between the Universe, life, humankind and god. The Universe is assumed to have arisen first from the energy of Potentiality that always existed. It is this energy of Potentiality that makes everything possible. The Universal process of cause & effect, of one thing leading to another, drives everything that happens throughout the Universe. Possibility is the consequence of cause & effect and randomness which leads to the process of evolution. Life became possible as a result of this evolutionary process which led to the coincidental combination of amino acid proteins that combined with Vitavis, a life force that was always present as part of Potentiality. Evolutionary development through genetic mutation eventually led to the multitude of species of plant and animal life, including the emergence of humankind. As part of the process of civilisation, of living in community; humankind created the concept of god to help explain the unexplainable, to attempt to have some influence over the natural world, to create a moral framework for communal living, and provide comfort and support throughout life.
DEOTHEOISM:
The new understanding of Deotheoism sees the traditional view of god as both creator and father figure to humankind as being two separate, distinct and unrelated functions. Creation is seen as an on-going process of change that has no beginning or end. The Universe is viewed, not as a whole or complete entity but as comprising zillions of individual events and objects that are constantly changing. God is viewed as a human creation comprising thousands of different interpretations throughout the history of civilisation – each being an attempt to explain the unexplainable, inject some kind of moralistic control over society, and help provide hope, comfort and security in a difficult world.
NUMOSAPIENISM:
We are facing unparalleled problems of over-population, over-consumption, climate change, pollution and species extinction. We face humanity crises of famine, refugees, addiction, obesity, corruption, debt, trade wars and social inequality. We are also likely to be threatened with a disease pandemic, long-term fuel shortages, and the possibility of nuclear war. Our current political, business and religious institutions are hopelessly unable to resolve our problems. People power needs to take over to resolve the problems facing us. Numosapienism is a call to everyone to evolve to a higher consciousness, to attain a ‘we’ level of environmental and social awareness. The aim is for everyone to become a Numo Sapien, a human being with a community conscience. Numosapienism is a new human way of being human - a new way of being human and a new human way of being.
